Thursday
HHH started five years ago, it started because a group of people thought that
the Monday Hash was not Hash enough. That
group decided to start a Thursday Hash, which would encourage anyone who wanted
to be involved in a real Hash, to come along.
The traditional Hash festivities would be introduced and every effort
would be made to turn Thursday Hash into the Tongan social event of the week.
Five
years down the track the Thursday Hash has become the premier Hash in the Kingdom of Tonga
There
is no joining fee or attendance fee.
Beverages are available at a minimal cost and payment is based on an
honesty system. Proceeds from the sale
of the beverages are used to fund the BBQ’s, which are held for every
significant personal or Hash milestone.
Thursday
Hash commences with registration at 5.20pm and a 5.30pm start, it is also held at a different
venue every week. Thursday Hash has a
Hash Run and also a Hash Walk, both the run and walk are normally designed so
that there is a long and a short version.
